Unable to set created by and updated by field in Jira cloud

Hi,

I need to maintain Created by/ Updated by field in Jira But I am unable to set the created and updated person in it.

Is there any OOTB feature to achieve it ??

These fields are intended to tell you accurate information about when an issue was created or updated.  You can't set them because they are supposed to be an accurate representation of the issue history.

Why are you trying to lie to your users?
