I've noticed that the Unassigned queue has disappeared. It is not deleted because when I attempt to create a new queue with the same name, Jira indicates that a queue with this name already exists.
do you have more than one JSM project? If so, do you not see Unassigned issues, queue, and other projects? Would you mind sending a screenshot of the page where queues are displayed?
Weird enough but the queue has reappeared again over the weekend.
I have created a substitute queue to replace the missing one. However, as I can see now, both the substitute queue and the original one are visible right now.
