I hope everyone is having a great week! I’m wondering if there’s a way to change the display name for users in the system. The system seems to automatically pick a random name from the email signature.
We tried registering a user with the same email and updating the name, but it didn’t work. The name in the ticket remains the same.
Looking forward to your guidance on this.

i am assuming you are referencing a Customer's user account? So anyone who has Portal-Only access. Follow the instructions in this article: Edit a customer's name | Jira Service Management Cloud | Atlassian Support
