Hi,

I'm looking for a way to use the organization of the user creating a request in a Jira service desk form, to be able to show or hide fields.

I.e. if a user is part of OrgA I want to show a section
if user is part of OrgB I want to show a different section

Has anyone found a way to use the organization of the requestor in this way or even pull it into the form?

Hello, @Sarah Young !
If you are open to use add-on, I can recommend Smart Jira Forms created by my team. It has many excellent features, like Conditional logic, the option to make the forms available externally, and the ability to gather attachments in Jira forms directly to your issues.

Hope you will like it and let me know if you need some assistance!

Thanks Olha, Do you know if this add-on is able to use the organization of the user who is using the request form? i.e. in the initial form that's used to create the issue. The use case I'm looking to solve specifically requires that.

Just for people looking to do this, I added the Smart Jira Forms and it was very basic in it's conditional logic capabilities and could not access the organization of the user.
