WYSIWYG Text field for Customer Portal

Hi,

I'm looking for a text field for customers who fill out the Service Desk. Many customers need to submit formatted texts through the Service Desk but I have not been able to find WYSIWYG text field or HTML text editor field.

Is there a way to have it on the customer portal?

Please help me for this matter.

Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!

As per the details you provided, the text field that you mentioned is the Description field, please correct me if I'm wrong.

If that's the case, currently, there is no option to use a different editor for the Description field. Based on your question, I created a feature request suggesting to add the same editor as the comment box (the one shown after the ticket is created):

Yes, description field for internal and that's what I noticed that it is not allowed for customer portal.

Is there any add-on from Atlassian market place that we can use until this is developed as a new feature?

More than a year later and we still cant have rich text in client portal description as if it's such an extreme feature to ask...
