We are setting up a test environment for JSM.
We currently have 200 Jira users.
We would like to setup a test environment in JSM for a few months to test the JSM product. Ideally, we would love the testing team to use the free environment (3 agents) until such time that we want more users to access the test environment.
Is this possible?
Hi Julie:
You should be able to do this starting your JSM with the Free subscription for testing, then later-on change your trial subscription level to higher tier subscriptions.
However, there may be one drawback will be changing the JSM URL site if you are not using your existing domain for your Jira Software site setup.
I would recommend that you to contact Atlassian Support (https://support.atlassian.com) for further assistance on the setup of your JSM trial env properly.

Hi Julie,
Yes, it's possible. You need to check the product access and ensure the right group provides access to JSM.
That will probably help you: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/jira-service-desk-agents-license-count-seems-to-be-incorrect-779160879.html
Thanks,
Melo
