I'm trying to figure out what determines the order of how projects appear on the Service Desk customer portal. We have four different Service Desk projects and for a while they were in a perfect order for us, but they suddenly changed order the other day and I can't figure out how to change them back. They are not sorted by portal ID, alphabetically, or based on any project setting that I can determine.
I believe it is ordered by most used by number of issues created. At least that is how ours seems to be ordered. I was not able to find any documentation on this though. You can always submit an atlassian support ticket and confirm. https://support.atlassian.com/contact/
It's definitely not in the order of creation, if it was that I'd be perfectly content with it. I am starting to suspect it is based on some version of activity or popularity...ugh

I thought they were in the order of creation. So let's say you have 6 projects
1 2 3
4 5 6
if you shrink your window to where it is a single column...
1
2
3
4
5
6
If you are seeing the order change then I wonder if it is by popularity but I have not tried to validate.
