When adding a customer to a Jira Service Management Project, customer is not receiving email

I have created a new service management project and added a customer to the project.  The email address did not receive an email invite notification that they have been added to the project?     Is this due to the user already being assigned to other projects?

 

Should a user receive a email notification when added to each jira service management project?

Hi @Kevin Goethe ,

A customer will get notified once you add him/her to the instance (user management), but as far I'm aware a notification won't be sent when added to a project.
