Where can I change the default team that the tickets I create go to different group/team

Hi @Candy Tricia Khohliwe 

Each created ticket ticked is assigned only to one user. From what I understand, you must have a custom field for different group/team. If that's the case (would be great if you could share a screenshot), then you have to:

  • Either check the workflows for a post function assigning to specific team/group
  • Or within Jira Automation for a rule that does what the above
  • Or for a listener (if you have an app like JMWE or Script runner) which will handle this change.

Finally, there could be a chance that you are talking about Components and component leads, but without a screenshot is rather difficult to guess. :/
