Where is Jira Service desk data stored - data governance

Hi All,

just wondering where the Jira service desk data is stored ?

We require to have our data only stored in Australian Data centres as part of our data governance policy. 

Could you confirm if a instance of Jira Service desk only store data locally in australia data centres ?

Welcome to the community. As a fellow Australian, my only recommendation is that if you're concerned about data sovereignty, please look at Jira hosted on Server.

Atlassian cannot guarantee that your data is only in Australia. Data may be held in AWS regions across the United States, Germany, Ireland, Singapore, and Australia, with location optimised based on a number of factors. To complicate things further, if you install any marketplace apps, then those vendors may also host the data in their own data centres, subject to their own data policies.
