Which product supports automatic issue creation from e-mail sent by a client?
In case of a manual update on an issue executed by a support team member the client should be automatically notified by e-mail form without JIRA.
Support of max 3 support team users is sufficient.
Welcome to the community. In JSM, it is already a part of the application for setting up issue creation via emails sent from customers -
It is also by default where when an agent of your JSM project comments/process the issues that trigger automated notification back to the issue creator (customer).
Here is the on-line documentation of JSM -

Hope this helps.

Hi Joseph,
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
If you don't need any of the more advanced functionality you can actually use the free tier of Jira Service Management with up to 3 users. You can then set up your mail handler and begin receiving requests via email.
Minimally, you will need at least JSM.

It is all out of the box for JSM, you don't need any additional add-on to give you what you are asking for.
Best, Joseph

Hi Joseph, thanks again. Does this it also hold for a custom email domain? We like to use our own/existing e-mail address (support@twiki-solutions.com) for both automatic issue creation (incoming) and updates on those issues (outgoing). And if so, is it supported by the free version or not?
