Why am I being invited to scam or fake projects?

Cronwel September 5, 2023

Don't know how to resolve this but I'm being chaotic and placing my grievance through Atlassian. I've been invited to multiple project recently and I have no way of removing myself from the projects. It says I have no Admin authority so I'm held prisoner to having these jira boards on my dashboard. Atlassian, you've got some major security breaches and I hope you're more careful on who you hire and from where.

   I have gone into the queues and deleted all the items so hopefully that upsets the scammers I don't know.

@Cronwel -

You should follow-up and work with your site admins to resolve your issue as the first step.  If it cannot be resolved by your site admins for your env, then you can follow-up with Atlassian Support (https://support.atlassian.com) for further assistance.

Your posting is posted in the community, where all of us are here to assist each others with questions on usage of products.  Unfortunately, we are not Atlassian and don't manage your site env.  So if you want support directly from the vendor, then you will need to Atlassian Support directly.

Hope your issue gets resolved soon.

Best, Joseph

Thank you Joseph, I'll work with this information. If I knew the site admins, i would do as you suggest but they are the ones perpetrating the fraud or scam or whatever it is that made them invite me.
