Why can't i change the default language for team-managed projects?

I want to set Norwegian as the default language for my team-managed project. Since my customers primarily communicates in Norwegian, it would be more efficient and user-friendly to have all fields, notifications, and interfaces localized to our preferred language. Our emplyees still want to have english as primary language on jira.

I checked the manual, I encountered this limitation:

"Changing the default language is only available to company-managed projects."

Why is this not possible?

The inability to set a default language for team-managed projects comes from the fundamental differences in how team-managed and company-managed projects are designed and configured in Jira. Team-managed projects are designed to support individual teams to manage their own project configurations without needing administrative assistance.

To maintain ease of use for teams, certain advanced features like project-specific language settings are not included in team-managed projects. Team-managed projects prioritize individual user settings which means global changes like default language aren't available.
