Will restricting request types by project role be available soon?

Currently, this is what you state in this article:

Only users and groups with Atlassian accounts can be given access to restricted request types. Project roles, customer accounts, and customer organizations are not supported at this time.

Hi @Chris Vuchev and welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Restricting request types based on project roles is not available indeed. I found this feature request but nothing about an estimated delivery.

You can vote and watch the feature request but I would not expect this to be released anytime soon.

On another note: this Community consists of Atlassian people using Atlassian products and not only of Atlassian employees.
My answer is not an official Atlassian answer.
Just saying because from your question it looks like you thought this was a direct line to Atlassian officials.
