I'm trying to make the request confirmation screen more user-friendly. Two questions:
1) Is there a way to append a confirmation text blob (e.g., "Request Submitted") to the top of this view?
2) Can this view load with the form fields collapsed?
The intent is to make is clearer to the user (unfamiliar with Jira) that their request has been submitted.
Hi @Russ Bombardieri, welcome to the community!
With regard to your questions:
1. No at the moment you can't change this; however, if you allow anonymous users to submit requests via your portal they will see a more prominent confirmation message, this is because they are not shown the 'request view' screen.
2. The default behaviour up to now has been for form fields to be collapsed. Perhaps atlassian are experimenting with a different view? Is your JSD project a 'standard' or 'next gen' project (you can tell this when, as an agent, you look at the top of the Jira project navigation bar on the left).
Is there any way to create confirmation screen before submit request form?
The purpose is to prevent user press send button by a mistake while inputing form
