{{#debug}} function does not print value to audit log

hey, according to https://support.atlassian.com/jira-core-cloud/docs/debug-a-rule/
the {{#debug}} function should execute Smart values but also add the result to the Audit Log - however I can´t find those details in the Audit Log
what is missing ?
