get user's manager from azure ad via send web request

Hi,

I am trying to create jira automation, when new issue added in jira, i need to automatically send web request to azure ad, get information about user's manager and then edit issue field and fill "managers" field. can you help me what kind of json/smart values or etc  i need to use ?

Hi Nodar,

We use a Marketplace add-on called Azure AD Attributes. With that app it is easy to retrieve the Manager of the user.

Hey Nodar,

I'm the Product Manager of Elements Connect for Jira Cloud, and I believe you could also use our app to retrieve any attributes from Azure AD, and then populate a Jira user custom field with its value.

You can follow this tutorial to Connect to Azure AD and this one to push the value retrieved in a Jira user field!
