is there anything to set up or configure to report on all issues in jira core and service desk

Hello, we currently have our DEV team using Jira CORE for tracking issues, bug and feature requests.   We want to implement Jira service desk to replace our current support requests/issues coming into the support team.  Do we need to "customize" a report to show all open issues for both modules?   Our executive team wants to see on their Board all the open issues for both Dev and the support team.
