shorten transition list

Is there a way to adjust the Transition list within Jira to only show the transitions and not the statuses.  I have a few ALL transitions and people keep clicking on them since they don't show the correct status.  I have the ALL ones at the bottom but since we made this view change, I've had people choosing this since it's under the current status.

Hi Gail,

No, the transition list always shows all the available options.  The only way to change it is to remove transitions from your workflows.

Suggestions on how to add in a validator "Are you sure you want to click on this?" or something like that?

That would not help make it easier for people to use, it would get in the way.  Validators in Jira check the data entered, and give us a simple "valid or not", they don't pop up extra boxes to annoy people.
