Hi @Pedro Olmo ,
I need to install that discovery tool but in cloud where i need to get that discovery zip , where i can download , i know in data centre from manage apps we can go to discovery then we can that discovery zip , but in cloud where i can get that?
Hello @Sailaja Ponnala ,
First, you'll need to install Assets discovey software on a cloud server running Linux and/or Windows. You can find a step-by-step guide here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/assets-discovery-step-by-step-1216974055.html
Once it's installed and you've scanned the networks you configure, go to the Export tab (as shown in the screenshot below).
From there, you can download the export file and upload it into the screen you shared in your question.

You can't install de asset discovery agent or collector in ira Cloud. You have to install the collector on a server you have (AWS, Azure or physical).
Discovery Agents would need to be installed on devices as well if agents are needed.
Follow the steps in the documentation: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/assets-discovery-step-by-step-1216974055.html

Hello @Sailaja Ponnala ,
The first Assets Discovery scan must be done manually by uploading the ZIP file to the importer. After that, you can generate a token from Assets and configure it on the server where Assets Discovery is installed. This will allow future scans to be automated from your server to Assets Cloud. It’s important to ensure connectivity between the server where Assets Discovery is installed and Jira Cloud.

Hello @Sailaja Ponnala ,
Do you have Assets Discovery installed on your own server? If so, can you see a configuration screen for the app like the one below?

What are you trying to import?
Do you use Assets Discovery or do you want to import data from a CSV file, what is your aim?

As @Pedro Olmo described, you will 1st need to set up asset discovery.
This will provide content, the discovery collector will create a zip of this content, then tis zip can be used to import, but you first have to define the structure of the import in the discovery collector.

Hello @Sailaja Ponnala ,
From the image, I understand that you want to import data from Assets Discovery into an Assets object schema. Is that correct? If so, the ZIP file must be generated using the Assets Discovery tool you installed to scan your networks, where the scanned machine information will be stored.
More information here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/assets-discovery-step-by-step-1216974055.html
If, on the other hand, you want to import a JSON or CSV file, you'll need to use one of the other two import options—neither the Discovery nor the External one.

Hi @Pedro Olmo
This doesn't need to be with Assets Discovery specifically, you can also do manual imports.

Hello @Marc - Devoteam ,
The screenshot Sailaja shared shows the Assets Discovery import.
Notice that the option Import data from a web address does not appear there. This option does appear for CSV and JSON imports, which are used for manual imports.
That’s why I explained the steps for importing using Assets Discovery.
