Is it possible to recover an accidentally deleted object?

Unfortunately no. When you try to delete an object you get a message like the following:

Deleting this object will remove it permanently. All referencing objects will lose their references to it.

@Alex Koxaras -Relational- is correct once you delete an object just like a jira issue, it is lost for ever.
