I planned to use a blog to annonace various information to the customer who I have invited to Jira Service desk.
I need the customer to b able to access the blog from the customer service portal. I this possible?
Hi Geir,
Welcome to Atlassian Community!
It's possible to link a Confluence space on a Service Desk project, so you can link the space where this blog is and customers will be able to search and see this blog on the customer portal.
Note that, when a space is linked and you allow customers to search all pages in that space, so if you want to share only this blog, you need to make sure to change the permission for other pages or let only this blog on the space.
You can find more information and the steps to link the space on the documentation below:
- Set up a knowledge base so customers can serve themselves
- Link a Confluence space to your service desk
- Overview of knowledge base access
If you have any other question, please let us know.

Angélica

This worked perfectly. I made a link to the Blog from the Customer portal under annoncements, and it works.
However I would preffer to have the link to the blog permamently at the bottom of the page. Is that possible?
Similarly I would like a link to the blow and to MS Teams for the agents to easy access this from the main menu inder each project. Is this possible?

To add a link to the customer portal the only option is the announcement banner.
There is one for the main page and also other for each project, but it's in the top of the page.
Go to Project settings > Portal settings > View and change your customer portal announcement.
On the page that will appear, click on Portal announcement to add the message.
The other option is on the main page where you can click on the link on the top left to go to the main page and then click on Customize on the right side.
