Copy Fields from Linked Issue

I have an existing issue (SUP) with fields. I create a new issue (DES). To this new issue I link the existing issue. When this happens i want to automaticly copy the fields from the linked existing issue to the newly created issue.

I have this automation setup:

 

This is what i see in the Audit log:

If I change the branch rule to "Current issue", and the copy "from Destination issue" the automation copies the DES labels to the SUP issue (so basicly deletes the labels that i want to copy to the DES...)

Unfortunately I could not find a solution to this problem on the forums.

Your problem is here:

You need to change this to copy from the Trigger Issue, the issue that caused the rule to be triggered. If you click on that text you will get a pop-up that lets you change the issues from which you want to copy the values.
