Create Sub-task option unavailable even after including it in the Issue Type Scheme

Hi (below question is for cloud hosted JIRA)

I just added the Sub-task issue type to the issue type scheme of a service desk in JIRA. I still cannot see an option to create a sub-task. I tried from the + button on left pane. The issue type drop-down does not list sub-task. I also tried to create it from an existing issue. But I could not find the "More" drop-down. Please help.

you create a sub-task by clicking on the ellipses when viewing the task where sub-task is to be added, i.e. your second image.
