Custom field changed after automation

In Jira Software, there is a project with an automation to change the assignee. There is a field that, through the script runner, we do not make it editable. It has two options, true or false, but it appears as empty or disappears when I click and make a change in another field that is not in the automation. A text field, for example. Can you help me?

I saw the  automation rules, it was normal.

Hi Viviane,

When you look at the history for the issue, who does it say edited/changed the field? 

Have you looked at the automation rules that ran at the same time to see if another rule might have changed it?
