Getting null pointer exception when linking 2 jira issues in Program board

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
Created new Program board and added Jira issues (stories) to board
Linked 2 jira tickets from program board to create dependency
But getting null pointer exception and unable to link issues.
We need to solve this issue to utilise the plugin
Please let me know how to resolve this issue
