Heyo,
We're using custom automation rules to notify our customers (so without product access) about new comments in their tickets.
What I'd like to do is to automatically replace the part of the content Jira puts in {{comments.last.body}} which is the relative link to the image embedded in the comment into an actual image.
Is there a way to do that with Jira Automation? Is there a feature request about this?
Alternatively, is there a way to select only the relevant images (so included in the last comment or attached to the last comment) and attach these images as email attachments using automation? Or is there any really usable workaround?
Currently, our workaround is that we recommend that our users use Customer Service Portal to view the images, but that's a lot worse customer experience than just sending the images within the email when needed.
How do you guys solve this in your JSM?
We support inline images within Notification Assistant for Jira and use the exact setup you have outlined in our own Service Desk.
