In line editing in JQL report query results

I have "In line" editing enabled on my settings, but I still cannot edit returned results from JQL queries. This used to be a function and it saved a ton of time to edit any visible column right from the search results. I hope someone can assist me in enabling this and this is not a feature removed.

How are you?

Actually, the inline editing of fields works perfectly on JIRA Cloud Application in the old and in the new issue view. As you can see in the screenshot below, I'm editing the description directly from the issue navigator page:

Could you please confirm to us if this is the feature you are asking for?

If this is the feature, please check the following steps:

1 - Ensure that you have the proper permissions to edit the issue by trying to edit it in the issue view itself:

2 - On the issue navigator page, confirm that you have configured your page with the Detail View:

3 - Navigate to JIRA Settings > System General Configuration > Check if the Inline Edit is turned ON

P.S: Step three requires Site-Admin privileges.
