Hi Community,
I am running into an issue that a user who is the owner of various rich filters and boards is to have his currently used email in JIRA deleted and have a new one created. He absolutely needs to create a new one and there is no chance he can keep his old one.
I have been trying to change his email in JIRA itself to reflect his new one so he does not need to create a new account and do alot of fixing for those rich filters/boards.
Is there a way to a JIRA Admin can change a users email address without having to delete/create a new account for the user?

Is the user access handled by Jira then it's no problem for the jira Admin to change his email adress.
if this user is conected to active directory, then someone with AD access needs to do the change.
