Jira Issue Collector Auto Notifications

I'm interested in enabling an automated notification for issue collector forms submitted. In referencing the issue collector support documentation, notifications are not addressed. I did find one community forum (https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/ISSUE-Collector-Notification/qaq-p/227075) indicating that perhaps the submitted form should  be routed to the "reporter" or even the admin for the project. After submitting a test form, i did not receive a notification. Can anyone help?
