We are currently using the Free Plan for Jira Service Desk, but need to upgrade to a Standard annual license.
When we are trying to activate the 1 month free trial (following this link: https://www.atlassian.com/try/cloud/signup?bundle=jira-service-desk&edition=standard )
and enter eurodyn.atlassian.net at the site name, we get a "This site is already taken." error.
Isn't it possible to activate the free trial using this site?

You should go to your atlassian URL of your free plan, then to settings > billing > manage subscriptions > Change
Then select the plan you want to use.

When we are trying to activate the free trial from the manage subscriptions page, it mentions that "we will be charged the Standard monthly cost when our trial ends using our current payment method." However, we need to purchase an annual not a monthly subscription.
Will we able to change it to annual once it is activated?

You actually have to go through the billing details page, where it looks like you will be charged $10 / month. Once you do that the link to switch to annual pricing is available.
