Does the plain text paragraph field no longer exist? What can we use if we don't want rich text formatting? The only option for plain text is "Short Text" and "text (read only".
There is no multi line text nor a paragraph (plain text) option.
We don't want richtext but the only option is short text which limits the word count to 255 characters.

Welcome to Atlassian community.
Officially, JSM Forms now only supports rich-text paragraph fields. The plain-text paragraph field remains in legacy, best-effort support and is only intended for older forms that haven’t migrated to rich-text. The Form Builder no longer allows creating new plain-text paragraph fields, only existing ones can be used and customers are expected to upgrade to rich-text. We have an open feature request for this here:

Yes, as far as I would like that same option available, without using any extra apps.
