Not able to receive Event notifications in Jira 8

I followed all the steps to configure event notification as mentioned in this  link. But not able to receive notifications when event occurs.

I tested with Notification helper but it says notification sent to the recipient which is not the case.

To check whether SMTP server is configured correctly I sent test email to the same recipient and it sent successfully.

Anybody can help.

Hi Pratik,

are you using the new batched notifications approach or the legacy one?

With batched notifications we ran into issue https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-68920

In case you are using the legacy approach: do you call a already existing (default) email template or a custom one? In case you are using a custom template: is the mapping file correct?
Please note that for adjusting the mapping in most cases a restart of Jira is needed.
