Avoid copying labels when creating a JIRA CLOUD related issue from Service Desk CLOUD

JIRA Service Desk CLOUD has a functionality to create a related task on a JIRA CLOUD project. When created all the labels from the service desk issue are copied to the newly created JIRA issue.

In our organization we use different labels on the related JIRA projects than on Service Desk so... Is it possible to avoid copying the labels present on the Service Desk issue to the JIRA related issue?

Hi Gabriel,

Thank you for your response.

Per points:

  • We are using the top right menu at service desk issue the three points button [...] and selecting "Crear incidencia enlazada" (Create linked issue).
  • What we need is exactly what you say, to create a new issue with no labels (no trepas the labels from the service desk to the new issue belonging to another project where we are using others labels)
    Now we create the linked issue and we delete the labels by hand (and sometimes the SD agent forgets to do it)

  • Could you please explain how you are creating this related task from Service Desk?
  • Do you want just to create the new issue, without any labels?

With this information, I should be able to better help you.
