I have a Filed value changed trigger monitoring Status (all operations) that checks if the state is Waiting for customer as shown here
If a JSM User (e.g. Support Agent) changes the Status from In Progress (or anything that leads to Waiting for customer), the trigger fires and the actions that follow work great.
However, we have another automation that moves issues to Waiting for customer when a JSM User adds a public comment as a reply to the customer. That automation executes properly still, but this new automation does NOT, even though the Status is properly updated from In Progress to Waiting for customer.
Feel like I am missing something on sequencing, scope, etc. since somewhat new to automations, so it appreciate your input.
Are you wanting the automation to trigger as a result of the other automation? If so be sure to check the box to allow rule to be triggered by other rules. This is n the details section of the rule.
