I need to be able to pull documents from my Google Team Drives into Issues within Jira Software and Jira Service Desk.
As of right now, if I attempt to add an attachment to the ticket, I have three options:
If I select Google Drive then I have access to the folders and files stored under "My Drive" but no access to the files stored under "Team Drives". My corporate data access policy ensures that users only use the "Team Drives" structure and that "My Drive" is used only for personal documents. Hence, I absolutely need to be able to pick from "Team Drives".
Having scoured the help I could only find reference to this issue in the Trello support forum where it was claimed that this was an issue with the Google Picker API but that this issue had been resolved by Google.
Does anyone know how I can work around this or when a fix might be available?

This is very disappointing. I have voted for the fix and encourage anyone else interested in linking Team Drive contents to do the same.

I agree Michelle and did you see that the suggestion was raised a year ago? Still only a handful of votes but I think if there was more visibility around this, it could get more votes. I'm having similar issues on JIRA around Google drives and Google file formats and I had to really hunt to find these posts on the Community. It is really disappointing that Atlassian promote themselves as a market leader yet are not including basic integration with Google. Since I've been hunting around, I've found other posts from over 5 years ago with people asking similar questions.

Please have a look to Team Files app for Jira, it supports Google Team Drives, live preview of files attached to issues and you can also attach full folders to an issue.
