Has any other customer experienced significant email notification delays? (up to 24 hours)

We are using the Atlassian JIRA Service Desk in the cloud and have experienced very slow email updates notifications of up to 24 hours - often long after the initial call has been addressed.

This problem started in November 2019  and was raised on ticket:

JST-528004 Notifications are delayed

I can see that a potential fix for your issue has been deployed.

Please provide your feedback on the fix and, if needed, continue working with the engineer assigned to your support request.
