Hello ,
I have synched the parent epic to its cloned issues, as in whatever change is made in parent epic will be copied to its cloned issues(done using Automation for JIRA) and now what I want is that whenever the users need to make a change to the cloned issues
they must do it in the parent and not in the cloned ones. Basically, the clones' issues should be greyed out and must only inherit the changes coming from its parent epic issue.
How can this be achieved?
I'm don't think it is possible to apply an issue security scheme to a specific issue type (they are tied to a project). This is the only way, I can think of, for you to create a read only issue.
