Ignore inactive users in API?

Eric Theriault November 1, 2020

Hi--

I've been using JIRA Service Desk for a while now and want to add some automation on our site for our users -- when I create a ticket via the API, I'm getting a "This customer is inactive. You'll need to go to user management and activate their account before you can invite them to the Service Desk." -- how can I ignore this (preferred) or overcome this?  Thanks!

Eric

I'm not sure you can overcome this in Cloud. But maybe you can research the use of Issue Collector which can be more flexible for your needs?

Great suggestion!  I'll take a look into that -- our current e-mail integration works fine as well -- I was just hoping to streamline that but I think this may become a blocker for ticket commenting and building other features on the API sadly.
