Hi,

Is there any way to set the initial sequence of an issue key? For example:

Project name: JIRA

Issue Key: JR - 1

Can we instead set to for example:

 JR - 10001

Thank you in advance for your feedback,

This can be done by modifying the 'pcounter' field in the 'project' table in Jira DB. However this method only works for Jira Server and since you are on Cloud and as such don't have the access to your Jira DB, this won't work for you I'm afraid.

Thank you for replying. Hmm alright. Perhaps there is an existing feature request for this. I suspected it to be available during issue importing at first (mapping issue id values), but I could not find any way to do this eventually.
