Perhaps the answer is no this cannot be done, but I have an automation that does the following:
When a ticket transitions status, create a new ticket. In a branch; for all created issues, And: Copy Forms. All Forms, from Current Issue.
The automation creates the ticket, adds the Attached Form section to the newly created ticket. But the advanced form, and the data contained in it are not brought over. The attach forms function is not helpful as I'd like the data from the previous ticket to carry over.
Is there a way to fix this?
Do you want to copy the forms from the trigger issue? If so, please change your Copy Forms action to select that option.
Inside of the branch on all created issues, the "Current Issue" refers to the branched-to issue (the new one) and not the trigger one.
Kind regards,
Bill
Thank you! That makes perfect sense - that fixed my issue.
