Hello
I'm trying to setup a Form that uses a Checkbox Custom Field with the Default Values being already checked when the Form is opened by the customer.
So i set up a Checkboxes Custom Field, entered some values and set some to be checked by default. This works fine if i use the Field directly in the request type. However, if i use it as a Linked Jira Field in a Form, the checkboxes are not checked.
The reason i want to use a Form in the first place, is to let users first select a department, which in turn shows the according section, each with the recommended checked boxes that can be changed at the customers discretion.
Is there a way to show the checkboxes as checked according to the Default Value in a Form?
If not, how could i achieve the above requirement?
Kind Regards
Hi @L M
Are the default value(s) set from the field context, or from the form?
I tried both ways and it only worked when the default value was set from the form itself.

Hi @Ste Wright
You're right, if i set the default value in the form itself, it works. I didn't even notice that this option was there. It seems redundant with the field context default values, but i'm sure there must be a good reason Atlassian did it that way... Or at least i hope so.
Thank you!
