Hello. Our company just write a quite big jira cloud addon. We would like to make private beta now. But what we would like to do is to make our product page visible, but only from url available only to our testers. Is it possible? For now we can create our product public (can be found from atlassian marketplace and visible for everybody), or private - accesible via generated tokens, which is problematic to generate for every tester its own token, and additionaly tester cannot see our product page, which is very important for us (it contains video tutorials and so on). So to sum up is it possible to create beta cloud addon, visible only from url(to our marketplace product), but not from atlassian marketplace?

Hi there

If you create you app as private, your customers / beta participants can install it using the URL you provide to them, don't need to generate a token for each one of them.

When you create the Marketplace listing, you can choose the version visibility. This would allow you to test your beta version privately before publishing them.

Thank you for ansfer. Of course you are right. But what i ask was to create a marketplace page like for example this : https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1217194/cleaner-for-jira?hosting=server&tab=overview , but available only from url. We have close a group of beta testers, and we want to send them a link to our product page(this is important becouse we want video tutorial there). But we dont want for now, to people from outside (except our beta testers) to find and test our plugin. Thats why we dont want our product to be possible to find from   atlassian marketplace(find from the shop).

Answer from Christopher Parker(from jira): Hey I'm afraid it's only possible to have the app either public or private, the access token approach is the best way to run a beta for a paid app. Alternatively you can remove the licensing restrictions for the beta version of the app and then just distribute the installation descriptor, you would have no need for the access tokens then. Cheers, Chris Thank you for your help!
