Today I looked at the current state of the jira service desk tickets and I am not really thrilled with the information deluge I am hitting people with.
Where can I find the configurations to modify each of the sections?
Like in my mind red = "header".
"Purple" = general screen configurations I believe, it seems to have taken the same settings as my input screen.
"green" = some default ticket screen, "footer"?
blue = some default again, "side bar?"
Advice on where to find these in the configurations would be greatly appreciated. Feeling a bit like I am drowning looking through the config haha :x
Bless!
Hi Cole,
You can edit those under screens.
Wherever you are, type 'gg', and then search for 'Screens'.
It'll probably be under 'SD: Jira Service Desk: Change Create Issue Screen', or something to that effect for you.
That covers off red and purple.
Blue - you can modify some stuff by editing the screens above, but most of it will stay.
Green - what do you want to remove?
You can turn off log work, and potentially Activity by disabling some modules, but that gets messy.
Aside, can't tell you much from real experience, but I stumbled on this a few days ago:
And it might give you more customisation than is possible with standard cloud.
Thanks for all of the information Jimmy!
I thank you for the information, here I was running around like wild trying to figure out how to get rid of these.. I suppose service desk cloud really does like keeping things a certain way. I don't mind most of the fields in green, I just wanted to filter it down to be even more simple-- not that it's too bad, we can do it!
I greatly appreciate all of the information, you saved me so many hours of searching around!
