SSO for customer portal

I've enabled SSO with Azure AD for our helpdesk, but when an end user goes to view the portal it doesn't redirect them to the SSO login, instead it asks for a password. Is there any way to enable SSO for end users to use when going to the portal to raise a support ticket?

The SSO option is only available for Atlassian Account users. Currently, the customers are stored in JIRA database and not linked with Atlassian Account (id.atlassian.com).

In order to link the customer account with Atlassian Account, you can:

  1. Go to Site Administration > JIRA Service Desk > Portal only customers
  2. Click on the target user to get the detailed view
  3. Click on Migrate to Atlassian Account
