i want remove "Jira Autmation" from my notifications

Derick September 27, 2024

Hi everyone,

I have this automation that assigns the same epic assignee to its subtasks, but the person choosing the assignee is someone else. Currently, the notification shows "Automation for Jira" as the actor. I need to change this so that it shows this third person as the one making the change, but the assignee of the subtasks MUST be the person they selected.

I believe this will solve the issue of the third person receiving multiple email notifications. Alternatively, if there is a way for mimage.pngimage.pnge to stop receiving notifications related specifically to this automation while still receiving others, that would be helpful. My main issue is the number of emails I receive for each subtask when the automation is triggered. I don't want to receive those emails.

This might be related to your automation, please check if you have ticket this option on :

eventually you might want to change your personal settings. Go to your Jira Personal Settings and adjust it accordingly : image.png

Hi @Derick

Uncheck the option on the Edit action from the Automation.
