Hello,
I have a synchronization of my project with another service management by webhook. Some of my issue are set up with forms. Forms are not visible in this service management. Is there a possibility to build an automation which exports to doc or prints in pdf the whole issue with the form and attaches to this issue? Then attachment would be simply sent to another Service Management by the webhook.
Thank you in advance and Kind Regards
Hello,
Thank you for your help.
@Jehan Bhathena unfortunately it did not work, I got empty value instead, so there I raised this topic.
@Sam Harding I found easier solution. Just in form settings I checked on this functionality and for each form in the issue pdf is created automatically.
Kind Regards, Paweł
Great catch
🙂 Thanks for sharing your solution.

Automation does not provide the specific functionality you are looking for, but there may be some ways to get the data out of the issue in an Automation rule, and send it to an external web address.
The smart value {{issue.properties."proforma.forms.i1"}} is a way to access form data on an issue in a rule. You could combine that with other smart values such as {{issue.key}} {{issue.summary}} etc to construct a payload to send to a web address using the "Send webhook" action.
This may not be exactly what you are looking for, but I hope it helps
Cheers
Sam

Hello,
Does the "Copy Form" action in Jira Automation work for your use case by any chance?
