"Portfolio for Jira must be licensed for the Parent Link to be available" error

I am trying to retrieve the Jira ticket details by pasting the URL "https://localhost:wxyz/rest/api/latest/issue/ABC-1" in chrome browser. I am getting a JSON response with most of the details of the ticket however, I am also getting an error message - PLUGIN_LICENSE_ERROR as "Portfolio for Jira must be licensed for the Parent Link to be available". Can somebody help me here please?

It sounds like your Jira instance has Portfolio for Jira installed, but an expired or invalid license. If you aren't your instance's Jira admin, I would check with that person to see if they can dive in deeper. If you are the admin, you'll need to get a license for Portfolio for Jira if you want anything useful out of the Parent Link field.
