Upgrade cost annual subscription

I am currently assessing our payment options and would love to see what we will be paying over several years. It is very likely that we will exceed a user tier when we would choose for an annual Cloud Subscription. What are the costs when we were to upgrade in the middle of our subscription for example?

I have checked the FAQ already and it says that you need to request a quote, but I don't want to request a quote. I just want an indication on how they will calculate an upgrade quote.

It's going to depend on your user tier and when you upgrade between tiers.

You can see the annual price based on your user levels on the pricing calculator: https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/pricing#

If an annual subscription is formally upgraded from one tier to another - the upgrade is prorated through the remainder of the annual term (based on months/days left vs cost for an annual license).
