Hello

i suddenly get this error in the customer portal for our service desk. i am logged into JIRA and all fine. i can work on all other stuff. admin rights and everything fine. we had no problems at all with it so far.

but suddenly when i try to send a ticket from customer portal it pops up this message. also tested it with a normal JIRA user. same error.

We are using the standard JIRA Directory for our users

any idea why this is happening ?

Hi Peter,

It seems to be a problem related to Roles/Project Permissions. Have a look and check who is allowed create issue.

If everything looks OK, please, raise a support ticket.

i checked that and it was all fine i created a new service desk and tried the portal ... all fine transferred all old tickets to new one and deleted old one. very weird issue. cant say what the reason was

first i thought it was a general problem with service desk not being able to load the users correctly. but since it worked in new service desk ... something else must have been the reason thx for help anyway :)
